My thoughts ðŸ’: My first 90s comic, and I was not disappointed. I have always known of the comic book character Azrael but have never read any comics with him. I was not let down. It was very interesting how this comic book consists of the following issues:
– Shadow of the Bat: #48, #49
– Detective Comics: #695, #696
– Robin: #27, #28
– Catwoman: #31, #32
– Azrael: #15, #16
– Batman #529
– The Batman Chronicles #4
managed to tie in a complex storyline that ended happily. Coming from a medical student background, I found it fascinating to see the virus family I learned about in class to be presented in the literature. Some of it was realistic, which made the comic feel even more real. The different issues with different art styles represent how other writers and artists view these characters.
It had moments that made me smile and moments that made me tense up. But, overall, this comic volume hit all the emotions, and I recommend it to anyone interested in reading older comics!
